“During the visit, Kabiru-Ingawa promised that the corps will continue with its unwavering commitment to deepening inter-agency collaboration with the agency.

“The visit centred on strengthening operational cooperation in combating human trafficking, child labour, forced migration, sexual exploitation and other forms of human rights violations across the state.

“The commandant highlighted the urgent need for stronger synergy among security and law enforcement agencies.

“He described human trafficking as a multi-dimensional crime requiring coordinated intelligence, joint enforcement operations and aggressive community awareness.

“The NSCDC remains fully committed to NAPTIP in necessary areas to curb human trafficking and protect vulnerable citizens.

“Also, strengthening the partnership is essential to prevent exploitation, promoting human dignity and developing safer communities,” Tijjani quoted the NSCDC commandant as saying.

According to the statement, the NAPTIP commander thanked Kabiru-Ingawa for the visit and commended the corps for its professionalism, consistent collaboration and visible support in its previous operations.

“Turajo emphasised that the renewed partnership between the two agencies would significantly boost ongoing efforts to prevent trafficking, rescue victims, and prosecute offenders,” Tijjani added.
