QNET concluded a two-day product workshop and entrepreneurial expo in Abuja with an impressive showcase of its wellness technologies, nutritional supplements, personal care products and business development opportunities for Nigerian and international participants.

The event, which began on Friday at the Belanova Hotel and continued on Saturday at the Myra Event Centre, brought together media professionals, young entrepreneurs and industry experts for an in-depth exploration of the company’s offerings and its growing presence in Nigeria’s direct-selling landscape.

On the first day, the workshop focused primarily on the Amezcua wellness line, with QNET’s Category Manager and Global Trainer, Bernhard Gaksch, leading participants through the science behind the Chi Pendant 4, Bio Disc 3, Bio Light 3 and the eGuard X. He explained that QNET designs these products to help people maintain balance, vitality and well-being in an era where constant exposure to electronic devices and environmental stressors has become unavoidable. The Chi Pendant 4 was presented as a wellness accessory that does not block electromagnetic radiation but instead helps reinforce the body’s natural biofield. Gaksch also demonstrated how the Bio Disc 3 uses natural geometric patterns and resonance technology to restructure water for improved hydration and cellular absorption, while the Bio Light 3 supports emotional balance, relaxation and recovery through chromotherapy. The eGuard X, a lightweight chip for electronic devices, was introduced as a tool that can help minimize the disruptive impact of electromagnetic waves without interfering with gadget performance. Participants observed visual demonstrations, including microscopic images of water molecules and blood cells, which QNET said illustrated the potential benefits of its wellness tools.

The second day of the expo shifted into a larger, more dynamic setting as the Myra Event Centre hosted a huge gathering of young entrepreneurs from different countries. The hall buzzed with hands-on product showcase, motivational exchanges and networking sessions as attendees explored an expanded lineup of QNET products. Gaksch introduced nutritional and personal care solutions such as EDG3, the company’s glutathione-boosting supplement; Prospark, its fluoride-free toothpaste; and the LifeQode BELITE 123 weight-management products. Luxury items were also on display, including the Swiss-made CIMIER QNETCITY watch assembled by QNET’s partner, CIMIER. The atmosphere combined learning with practical engagement as participants experimented with products, asked technical questions and explored how QNET’s direct-selling system could be applied to their entrepreneurial pursuits.

A significant portion of Day 2 featured a detailed conversation with Professor Abiodun Humphrey Adebayo, former Vice-Chancellor and current Director of Research at Covenant University, who serves on the QNET Scientific Advisory Board. He explained that the board evaluates the safety, quality and scientific validity of QNET’s products, confirming which ones meet acceptable standards for human use. He said the expo demonstrated the wide range of QNET’s innovations, from educational materials and household items to watches and their Amezcua technologies, which he said offer environmental and wellness-related support.

Discussing Nigeria’s direct-selling environment, he explained that the model delivers products directly to consumers, reducing the risks associated with middlemen and fraudulent distributors. Although challenges remain, he noted that the sector is expanding and that Nigeria’s young population is increasingly receptive to entrepreneurship through direct selling.

Professor Adebayo offered a detailed breakdown of his recent research on the Amezcua Bio Disc 3. A study published in the Scientific African journal tested water from various sources—including rainwater, branded bottled water and laboratory-prepared samples—by placing them on the disc for durations ranging from 30 minutes to 48 hours. According to him, the treated water showed enhanced hydration, reduced sodium levels, increased potassium composition and lower microbial presence. He emphasized that while the Bio Disc is not a substitute for purification procedures, the findings suggest that structured water can support better hydration and exhibit antimicrobial properties.

He also shared preliminary results from studies involving popular local drinks such as palm wine, kunu, tiger nut drink, zobo and malt beverages. His team found that restructuring these drinks improved their stability, increased energy levels and significantly reduced microbial content. He added that even a malt drink that initially showed slight microbial presence became microbe-free after restructuring on the disc.

Another study examined catfish growth in structured water environments. Over a 50-day period, fish grown in restructured water recorded higher weight gains and benefited from reduced microbial contamination, improved dissolved oxygen and more favourable water chemistry. These results, he said, suggest that structured water may support better growth conditions in aquaculture.

Addressing questions on affordability, he explained that the Amezcua products, including the Chi Pendant 4 and Bio Disc 3, are designed to last up to 30 years, making them long-term health investments. He added that several QNET products have been reviewed by relevant Nigerian regulatory agencies, especially those in the nutritional and beverage categories, with more certifications in progress.

Across both days, participants described the workshop and expo as enlightening and impactful. Media practitioners said the detailed explanations helped them better understand QNET’s technology-driven wellness products, while entrepreneurs said the event expanded their knowledge of direct selling and opened doors to new business opportunities. By the close of the Abuja gathering, QNET emphasized its commitment to supporting informed wellness choices and empowering young people with tools to navigate modern living and build sustainable careers in entrepreneurship.
