Fans of Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, have continued to celebrate him with goodwill messages as he turns 50.
The supporters and admirers of the “African Queen” crooner on Wednesday flooded social media platforms with his photos and congratulatory messages, hailing him as a true Nigerian music icon.

Earlier, the wife of the music superstar, Natasha Osawaru, took to her Instagram page to pour glowing tributes on her husband as he marks the Golden Jubilee.
Osawaru, the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo House of Assembly, described the music superstar as “one of the greatest gifts ever.”
She wrote:“Happy birthday to the love of my life. You are 50!!!!! Oh wow!!!!!! You spaced me with 20 years and you look younger than I do…
“Innocent Ujah Idibia my husband… words cannot express the joy you’ve brought into my life. My joy is complete with you in it.”
“Baby I want to spend each day loving you and caring for you for the rest of my life. I love you and happy birthday, my baby @official2baba”
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Innocent Idibia, born on September 18, 1975, hails from the Idoma ethnic group in Benue State.
He was part of the influential hip-hop group Plantashun Boyz, which released two albums in the early 2000s before disbanding in 2004.
After the group’s separation, he launched his solo career, releasing his debut album, ‘Face 2 Face’ in 2004.
He, however, gained popularity on the global stage with his 2004 multi-award-wining hit single “African Queen”.
Some of his accolades in music include MTV Europe Music Award, MTV Africa Music Awards, the MOBO Awards, Nigeria Entertainment Awards, among others. (NAN)
