The people of Edo State will head to the polls on Saturday, July 11, 2026, to elect new leaders for local government positions across the state. This announcement was made by the Chairman of the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC), Mr. Jonathan Aifuobakhan, during a press briefing held at the commission’s headquarters in Benin City.
