Photo News: Governor Okpebholo Commissions Key Infrastructure Projects in Sokoto State

On Wednesday, 2nd July, 2025, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Executive Governor of Edo State, commissioned key infrastructure projects in Sokoto State, Seat of the Caliphate.

Some of the projects commissioned by Governor Okpebholo were Tamaje Water Scheme and the Mabera Township Roads.

The projects’ commissioning were part of activities marking the second year anniversary of the administration of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State.

Governor Okpebholo appreciates this noble opportunity to perform the commissioning in far away Northern Nigeria.

For him, this is not just a privilege; it is a reflection of the growing partnerships he is building across the country. It is also a sign that A New Edo Has Risen.

“I congratulate my brother Governor and the great people of Sokoto State for their strides in development. Together, we will continue to advance progress, unity, and shared prosperity across Nigeria,” Governor Okpebholo stated.
